Dr. Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein has expressed heartfelt appreciation to dignitaries, organisations, friends and well-wishers who attended and supported the celebration of her 61st birthday, book presentation and foundation launch.

In a statement released on Sunday, Dr. Madein described the three-in-one event as memorable and successful, attributing its success to the support, goodwill and prayers of numerous distinguished personalities and guests who graced the occasion.

She first gave thanks to Almighty God for the grace to celebrate another milestone and appreciated everyone who contributed to the planning and successful hosting of the event.

Dr. Madein particularly expressed deep gratitude to her husband, Engr. Adeleke Olusina Madein, and her children for their unwavering love, encouragement and support.

Among the dignitaries she acknowledged was the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as well as the Balogun and Babaoba of Iperu and Odole Oodua of the Source, Sir Kesington Adebutu, GCON, who was represented at the event by the Balogun of Ode Remo and Aare Gbo Gbo Gbo of Remoland, Aare Kola Oyefeso.

She also appreciated the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi (Torungbuwa II), who served as Royal Father of the Day and was represented by Dr. Solomon Kayode Onafowokan, Chairman of Coleman Wires and Cables, as well as former Governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, who was the Father of the Day.

Other notable personalities recognised include former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and book reviewer, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan; the current Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, represented by the Director-General of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Dr. Funke Adepoju; and the Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, represented by Mrs. Ola Erinfolami.

Dr. Madein further appreciated Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East Senatorial District; Hon. Dr. Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji, member representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency; and Hon. Jamiu Asimi, Executive Chairman of Ikenne Local Government.

She also acknowledged the presence of former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, represented by Hon. Mikky Kazeem; former Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Chief Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga; Olori Oluwakemi Adetona; the Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Dr. Oliver Ali Abah; and the Archbishop of Abuja Archdiocese, Dr. Michael Olusegun Akinwale.

The celebrant equally expressed appreciation to the Iperu Regency Council led by High Chief Rotimi Odutona, Lisa of Iperu, as well as several traditional rulers from Iperu and neighbouring communities who attended the event.

She also recognised professional colleagues and organisations including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the International Association of Strategy Professionals of Nigeria.

Dr. Madein further thanked several community development groups, alumni associations and socio-cultural organisations from Iperu-Remo and beyond for their support and solidarity during the celebration.

Special commendation was given to the event’s planning committee chaired by her twin sister, Dr. Joke Sofowora, alongside Prince Temitope Oyekan, Dr. Gbenga Badejo, Princess Adetoun Adetona-Daramola and Mrs. Tolulope Soyege-Ajiboye for their dedication and commitment.

She also appreciated members of the Sanni Olowo Oloye, Senubi, Osho Akejo and Madein families for their enthusiasm and support.

Dr. Madein further commended various media organisations, including OGTV, OGBC, Channels Television, Remo TV, City People and several national print and online media platforms for their coverage of the event.

She equally thanked the event compères, Babatunde Adeloye and Funmi Omoboriowo, as well as artistes and entertainers such as Tobi Davis, Welimarsax, Aikulola, DJ Coolzy and Adeyinka Alaseyori who added colour to the celebration.

While concluding her message of appreciation, Dr. Madein thanked the good people of Iperu-Akesanland and her Media Consultant, Prince Temitope Oyekan, noting that their presence, prayers and support contributed immensely to the success of the occasion.

She prayed that Almighty God would bless and reward all those who contributed in one way or the other to the success of the event.
