The Mayor of Yenagoa City, Hon. Bulodisiye Ndiwari has extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Peter Akpe Ph.D on his swearing-in as the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.l
In a statement personally signed by him and made available to Salient Times News, Hon. Bulodisiye Ndiwari,, described Akpe’s elevation as a victory for competence, integrity, loyalty, and selfless service.
“Your appointment is a fitting recognition of your capacity, experience, and unwavering dedication to the collective good,” Ndiwari said.
Ndiwari further described Akpe as a leader, mentor, and boss and expressed gratitude for the invaluable role Akpe has played in his political and ethical development.
“Your guidance, mentorship, and example have shaped my leadership philosophy and instilled in me the values of humility, accountability, and service above self,” he said.
Ndiwari praised Akpe’s unique suitability for the position, citing his deep understanding of governance, calm disposition, and ability to unite people across divides.
He expressed confidence that Akpe would support the administration in advancing the progress, stability, and prosperity of Bayelsa State.
