….Calls on citizens to back ADP’s vision of making the Gateway State a development hub

An Action Democratic Party (ADP) chieftain, Hon. Olanrewaju Sokunbi, popularly known as KASH, has congratulated the people of Ogun State as the state marks its 50th anniversary of creation.

Sokunbi, in a goodwill message made available to journalists on Monday, described the golden jubilee celebration as a significant milestone in the history of the Gateway State.

He noted that the anniversary reflects the rich heritage, resilience and determination of the indigenous people of Ogun State over the past five decades.

According to him, the commemoration provides an opportunity for citizens to reflect on the state’s journey, achievements and prospects for the future.

The ADP chieftain extended heartfelt greetings to residents across the 20 local government areas, urging them to sustain unity and collective progress.

He commended the contributions of past administrations to the growth and development of the state.

Sokunbi specifically praised former governors Olabisi Onabanjo, Olusegun Osoba, Gbenga Daniel, Ibikunle Amosun, and the incumbent Governor Dapo Abiodun.

He described their tenures as periods of visionary leadership that have helped shape Ogun State into one of Nigeria’s leading industrial and educational centres.

“This momentous occasion is a testament to our rich heritage and the resilience of our people,” Sokunbi stated.

He added that the efforts of successive leaders have laid foundations upon which future administrations can build for greater progress.

The politician urged the people to use the celebration as a springboard for envisioning a brighter and more prosperous Ogun State.

He stressed that the next phase of development must focus on expanding opportunities for all citizens, particularly youths and entrepreneurs.

Sokunbi also used the occasion to highlight his party’s commitment to transforming the state if given the necessary public support.

He said the Action Democratic Party is determined to reposition Ogun as a beacon of development that will attract visitors, investors and tourists from far and wide.

According to him, Ogun State has the potential to become a model of economic growth, innovation and sustainable prosperity in Nigeria.

He called on residents to rally behind the ADP’s vision of inclusive governance and people-oriented development.

Sokunbi maintained that with the right leadership and citizen participation, Ogun can achieve greater heights in infrastructure, education, healthcare and job creation.

“Together, let us strive to make Ogun State an exemplary model of growth and opportunity for all,” he said.

He expressed optimism that the state’s golden jubilee would inspire renewed commitment to unity, peace and progress among its people.

Sokunbi concluded by wishing Ogun State continued stability and prosperity as it enters a new chapter in its development journey.
