Prince Olawale Yusuf Adeyemi-Oriola (Esq) has extended New Year greetings to sons and daughters of Ijebuland at home and in the diaspora, expressing optimism for a year of peace, progress, and shared prosperity.

In his goodwill message, Prince Adeyemi-Oriola described himself as a proud Ijebu son whose life has been shaped by deep ancestral roots, rigorous education, and professional service. He reaffirmed his commitment to the enduring values of Ijebuland, anchored in tradition while remaining forward-looking in outlook.

A member of the Olufadi/Obanlefa branch of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, Prince Adeyemi-Oriola noted that responsible leadership within traditional institutions requires respect for age-old customs alongside the skills needed to engage modern governance and sustainable development.

He outlined a broad vision for Ijebuland that emphasizes economic growth, youth empowerment, improved infrastructure, Ijebu statehood, cultural promotion, and unity, while respecting all religious beliefs and upholding Isese traditions.

“I wish all fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters of Ijebuland a happy and prosperous New Year. May our land continue to witness peace, progress, and abundant blessings,” he said.

Prince Adeyemi-Oriola also commended the Ogun State Government under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun for sustaining peace and stability across the state, describing the prevailing calm as a strong foundation for development and communal harmony.

“The peaceful atmosphere enjoyed by residents is a product of effective governance, coordination, and the cooperation of the people.

“Ijebuland, as a vital part of Ogun State, continues to record steady progress under this atmosphere of peace. Leadership is about vision, influence, and the ability to inspire, not merely holding authority.

“These qualities are clearly reflected in the current administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun. May God continue to guide and protect Ogun State and its people.”

Prince Adeyemi-Oriola urged continued unity, patriotism, and collective commitment to growth and greatness of Ijebuland and Ogun State in the year ahead.
