Pastor Reuben Wilson, founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA) and a governing‑council member of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has joined family, friends and admirers worldwide to mark the 68th birthday of former Nigerian President, His Excellency Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR.
In a statement in Yenagoa, Pastor Wilson described President Jonathan as a statesman whose exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to democracy have set a high benchmark for Nigeria and the wider African continent.
“He is a leading light in Africa’s democratic landscape, and his enviable reputation has earned him global recognition,” the statement read.
Pastor Wilson highlighted the former president’s tenure, noting that it witnessed unprecedented reforms and notable policies and projects that positively impacted the citizenry.
He praised Jonathan’s contributions to Nigeria’s greatness, his role in maintaining peace and development across Africa, and his influence on the global stage.
“As we celebrate you today, we express our aspirations that your vision for a brighter future continues to inspire us all,” the statement continued.
