Beneficiaries of the Pastor Reuben Educational Scholarship Scheme have been admonished to always maintain the highest standards of academic excellence.
In a statement in Yenagoa by Hon. Erepamowei Ogbomo, Secretary- General of PRIFGLA who doubles as Special Adviser on Students and Scholarship Engagement to Pastor Reuben Wilson said they were further advised to exhibit personal discipline, diligence and moral integrity.
The advise was given at Novena University, Delta State during the end of Pastor Reuben Educational Scholarship Scheme Batch A Stream 2 Phase.
The statement added that the event also marked a significant milestone in its commitment to expand educational opportunities for Nigerian youths.
Ogbomo emphasized that the scholarship scheme aimed to broaden access to quality education, empower promising youths and drive national development through strategic human‑capital investment.
He noted that since its inception, the programme has provided financial aid, mentorship and academic motivation to students across several tertiary institutions.
Speaking during the closing event, PRIFGLA leadership congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to imbibe traits the will enable excel in life
He reminded participants to embody the values of leadership, service and responsibility as ambassadors of the initiative’s vision for youth empowerment and nation‑building.
PRIFGLA reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining programmes that promote educational excellence, youth development and equitable access to learning opportunities throughout Nigeria.
In a remarks, a parent who accompanied the team to Novena University expressed gratitude for the life‑changing impact of the scholarship, noting that the support has profoundly improved her family’s prospects.
The competition’s top performers were recognised in line with the scheme’s 2024 pledge to reward exemplary academic achievement, intellectual engagement and leadership potential. Winners and runners‑up received awards at the ceremony.
