The Chairman of the Directorate for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Engr. Ebiye Tarabina has charged Setraco Nig Ltd to expedite action on the Nembe/Brass road to meet the projection of the state Government

Engr. Tarabina gave the charge during a project inspection tour to the ongoing Nembe /Brass road at the Nembe end of the road.

 

Engr. Tarabina said Setraco has exhibited a measurable technical competence and capability that could make the company deliver quality work ahead of schedule

The Chairman said the Governor has consistently showed his preference for infrastructural development that would set the tone for economic development and the Nembe Brass road when completed would bring about a multidimensional boost to the economy of the state.

Responding the project manager Engr. Julien said the company has so far achieved sand filling 19km, sand stabilization of 10+620km and stone base of 8+600km.

According to the project manager pilling work on the 3rd and 4th bridges would commence in a matter of days to ensure the company work within the timeline.

The Chairman was accompanied by the secretary, Engr Sampson Igodo, board members engineers among others.
