RHOL: I’m an emotional person -Diiadem

Adeola Diiadem Adeyemi is a beauty entrepreneur and brand influencer. She is part of the Real Housewives of Lagos Season 3, though this is her first time experience as an actress. Diiadem says she is in the RHOL to make more friends and expand her business frontiers.

The main goal for being part of Real Housewives of Lagos

I want to be able to reach a wider audience for my brand and joining the show, people will get to see the real Diiadem. Not that they don’t see me online but there are things that I don’t share that’s why when people see clips of me on the show, they are like oh! So, Diadem is like this?
Some people are in for a good ride because they will get to see who Diiadem is, when nobody is there; when my phone camera is not on, when I am home with my family or hanging out with my friends and so they get to see me for who I am. I will leave my mark on the show because I am just different and everybody is unique in their own way.

You mentioned that you will be showing your family etc. How do you handle the pressure of being in the spot light?

It’s not all of my loved ones that will be shown just few of them and they already know what they are in for. Just the ones I know that can stand the heat of social media spotlight.

If you were to describe season 3 in one word, what will you say?

Wait. It has not ended. So far it’s just all vibes because the show has not really started. Maybe from episode 4, 5, things will start manifesting but for now it’s just cruise.

Having fun on the show is this your first reality show? Do you feel jittery being an influencer that people are going to see the good, bad and ugly side of you?

This is my first reality TV show and I know that for a fact people are going to see a different me because I am the type that don’t really post much about me, aside posting pictures and videos and just leave. I don’t post too much. A lot of people dot know who Diiadem is, they just run with the narrative of whatever they see online.
Being on the show will shed more light on who Diadem is, just a little bit of my personal life, my personality. It will be shaping some narratives about me and I think that’s what’s going to happen

You once said that you wear your emotions like sleeves, what do you mean?

I am a very sensitive person, I am a deep thinker and how I feel about someone I show it. I don’t know how to hide my feelings. If I love you, I am very loud in my love and if I don’t like you, I am very vocal about it. I am a very sensitive person and my emotion is usually in my face and that’s why I said that.

Which means there’s going to be a lot of quarrels, misunderstanding or hug in the house?

I don’t know.

You were a video vixen before you went into cosmetics. You will meet with other women what’s that strength and what will be your shield as you stay with them

One thing I know how to do best in my life is to mind my business. The conversation that has nothing to do with me I stay out of it. I stay out of drama. So if you see Diadem angry or fighting anybody on the show, you know the person called for it. One thing about me is that you definitely see me minding my business a lot. If I am not asked to speak, I am not speaking and I am not a conversation starter. I can only start a conversation maybe if it’s something I really want to know.

After this what next maybe acting

It depends if the pay is good, acting can be very tasking because this show alone is very difficult for me to shoot, so you can imagine what acting is like. It depends on the offer but I will definitely explore that avenue.

Who was your favorite in season one and two? Why would you like to be close to the person in season 3?

In season one was Laura and I just like the fact that she held her ground in spite of everything that happened to her. In season 11, I will say Faith and that’s because she encountered a lot of bullying and she did not let that weigh down or change who she is. She has her own short coming. I really enjoyed Faith on the show. In season 3, so far Dabota is my favorite because she is my friend. We held each other down on the show. She is someone that is an amazing person. She is guided as well just like me, I don’t let people into my space

You’re impeccable in your fashion style, what you wear and how you dress
Less is more.

I don’t like to do so much. I am not an extravagant dresser. I go with what matches my style, very classic, chill and demeanor. Just very clean looking.

Looking at the morale aspect, what are you going to portray?

First nobody should make me their idol because; I don’t want to disappoint anybody. I am going to be my real self. If I am liked for that good but if I am not I will mind my business. I don’t want to pressure anybody I just want to be myself.

Being a model, how do you joggle between your business and modeling?

I am no longer a model. I left that behind. I am the CEO and founder of my business. I am a mom and it’s easy for me because I delegate and
I prioritize my program that way it’s easier for me to plan and balance my work I think I am adapting pretty good. Very simple, if there’s a conversation going on and I don’t have anything to do with me; I don’t need to get involved. I think that is helping me. I don’t poke nose.

Who do you think will be problem for you on the show?

Nobody. I don’t send. The ladies know. I will not look for your trouble but don’t do same for me or you will collect. There’s nothing that I cannot handle. We all have the same heads, there’s nothing
anybody can do to me

What should your fans expect?

Watch the show with an open mind don’t judge people. Watch them and have fun it’s just a show and we are all having fun.
