An insider who pleaded anonymity explained to our reporter that at this point directive came from his (Emmanuel) superior who was the terrorists long time secret agent that the captives(terrorists) should be released immediately. This Emmanuel Edoka refused to compromise to let the captives go off the hook. He vehemently refused to compromised with the act of an undutiful gesture of his superior’s instruction.

However, Emmanuel Edoka was disarmed along side his three surbodinates. The terrorists in turn captured Emmanuel Edoka and his surbodinates into their camps and forcefully demanded that Emmanuel should join their squad else, he will be killed and his family too will be killed. We learnt that Emmanuel was was in their captivity for over 3 or 4 days when he eventually escaped from the grip of the terrorists.

In our bid to contact his immediate family members(wife and children) on his whereabouts, it was gathered that the family has been displaced by unknown gun men who killed his first born in the process. As the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of his wife and remaining three children is unknown.
