Prince Taofeek Adeyemi Adeleke of Iresa Adu kingdom in Surulere local government area of Oyo State has felicitated with the entire indigenes and residents of Iresa Adu on the celebration of this year Christmas and new year celebrations.

In a message personally signed by the the Prince from Emiolu dynasty of Iresa Adu in Surulere local government area of Oyo State, Prince Adeleke wishes all residents including Chiefs and indigenes of the foremost Yoruba kingdom a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

“On behalf of my humble self, family, and entire, Emiolu rulling house of Iresa Adu kingdom, this is wishing the Kingmakers, Chiefs, the traditionalists the custodians of our kingdom; religious leaders sons and daughters home and abroad and residents of Iresa Adu Kingdom, Surulere LGA and Oyo state joyous Christmas and prosperous New Year.

“May this festive season bring peace, love and unity to our great kingdom.

“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we should also remember the rich cultural heritage of our great kingdom. Let’s not forget our source, tradition, custom and the value we inherited from our great ancestors and forefathers.
May the Christmas spirit inspire us to build a better future for ourselves, our children and kingdom at large.

“Fellow descendants of Iresa Adu, I, humbly implore every one of you as sons and daughters of Iresa Adu across the globe not to forget our home town. We should bear in mind that Ile ni abo Simi oko.

“Please let’s come home and invest in Iresa Adu Kingdom rather than investing in the neighboring towns around the kingdom. We all know that charity begins at home. Teni ni teni, akisa ni ti atititan. Omo eni ko ni se idi bebere ki a ko ileke si idi Omo elomiran.


“The development and progress of Iresa Adu is a collective responsibility of all us.

“It is high time and we revive, rebrand and showcase to the world the rich cultural heritage of Iresa Adu kingdom through different cultural festivals of the kingdom to the world, this will no doubt attract foreign investors to our great kingdom. Let’s join hands together to develop our kingdom.
