Lead Sports Afrique Storms Jos, For First Teqball National Championship

Lead Sports Afrique organizers of the First edition of “9ja Teqball Challenger Series” in collaboration with the Teqball Federation of Nigeria, has released Group Stage fixtures for the tournament.

The tournament which will kick-off tomorrow 26th of November, 2024 at the Fwavei Sports Field Rayfield, Jos, is the first in in the country and fans are already talking about the tournament especially with the release of Men’s Singles draws.

Nigeria number one, Victor Oyemade, will face off against Abdulkadir Folarin and Ihedioha Mcblaise Ikedi, Mohammed Sani Rabiu and Mohammed S. Rabiu

Victor Oyemade had earlier sent a warning signal saying that “if you see your name in group B, C or D, you are safe but if your name appears in group A please come along with your doctor because… Don’t say you were not told O!!!”

Group B comprises of Yahyah Khalid, Nwa-Emmanuel Justice, Mike Enebechukwu, Hassan Y. Saba and Ahmed Ibrahim.

Meanwhile, Funsho Samson trade tackle in Group C alongside Joshua Musa Mohammed Lawal, Saminu Lawal and Auwalu Dahiru.

In Group D, Ezeigbo Cornelius, Efosa Obosa, Samuel Glabe, Ibrahim Hassan and Ahmed Alhassan will slug it out.

In the meantime, Organizers say grouping for the Women’s Singles event would be released in bits.

Four categories would be contested for: Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles

The Lead Sports Afrique “9ja Teqball Challenger Series” which is open to Teqball players ages 14 and above from across the country will see teqers in the men and women category jostle for a portion of the 3M naira at stake.
