The Prisoners Rehabilitation & Welfare Action (PRAWA) will on December 2, 2024 commence activities scheduled to mark its 30th anniversary in Abuja.
The Non-Governmental Organization has in the past 30 years worked tirelessly to advance justice, rehabilitation and social reintegration for inmates, ex-inmates, victims of torture and youths at risk.
PRAWA stated that it will use the occasion to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of its partners, supporters, and advocates who have championed the cause of justice, security, peace, rehabilitation, and development in the past three decades when the NGO began operations.
To commemorate its landmark achievements, PRAWA will, therefore, be hosting a series of events, including International Exhibitions, an International Conference and an Awards Night during the anniversary celebrations.

PRAWA 30th Anniversary, some of the events are:
- The International Conference on Justice, Peace, Security, and Development: Impact, Lessons, and Future: This conference will convene experts, stakeholders, and advocates from around the globe to discuss key issues in justice and rehabilitation.
- Official Opening of the Week-long Exhibition of products of correctional service vocational workshop and agricultural centers, products by inmates, ex-inmates, those serving non-custodial sentences, youths-at-risks, torture victims/survivors, etc.
- PRAWA @30 Awards Night
