Renewed hostilities by suspected Fulani herdsmen claims over ten lives last midnight at Anagbe Gwer-West area of Benue State.
Eyewitness disclosed that the incident occurred on Saturday by 12midnigh when the armed herders storm the village armed to the teeth and started shooting sporadically resulting to the death of persons.
Also it was discovered that many houses were set ablaze by the rampaging suspected Fulani herdsmen.
While some natives have been declared missing after the incident occurred their no where to be found.
It could be recalled that several efforts were intensified to mitigate constant uprising to no avail in the affected communities imploring federal government to hastened action and remedy the problem.
When contacted caretaker Committee Chairman Hon Henry Igba frowned at the incessants attacks often times resulting several loss lives in his council.
He however maintained that federal Government should as matter of urgency come to our aid with a view finding permanent penacea to the impasse in the council.
According to him, restated his subjects are killed indiscriminately by armed herders for no apparent reason craving for intervention to mitigate the situation.
