Benue State Deputy Governor Barr Sam Ode has reiterated the resolved of present dispensation to parley with members of the fourth estate of the realm in the State.

The Deputy Governor who said this when he  visited Correspondents Chapel of Nigeria Union of journalists Nuj Benue Council at it’s secretariat in lobi quarter on Tuesday in Makurdi, Benue State.

While addressing the members of the Chapel he restated that journalists are vertical organs of Communication between Governance and the general public.

Let me emphasized the virtous of the media are enormous in building any society ,moreso as you have have bestowed an honour him as “Associate member ”

Permits to inform that as your member in government would do everything humanly possible to protect the interest journalism on the other side of device.

He recalled just last Friday when the Chapel came calling he promised to come last Monday but it was taken by other important occasion as he was asked by his boss Governor Hyacinth Alia to represent an official engagement elsewhere.

In his remarks the chairman of Correspondents Chapel applauded the Deputy Governor Barr Sam Ode for sparing time out of his busy schedule to honour the appointment.

In his words this is the first time Deputy Governor of Benue State, neither a Governor is visiting the Correspondents Chapel were excited due to the homage you have demonstrated this afternoon.

In his closing remarks Mr Dzeremo Phillips, Head of News Agency of Nigeria salute the August visitor for making history noting it would remained memorable for time to come.
