She told the police that she later received a call from her brother’s master claiming he stole N100,000 from his shop.

According to the police, Cynthia said shortly after, she received a call from a neighbour saying that her brother was found lying lifeless at the Abijo bus stop. She said she rushed to the scene and found her brother dead, foaming from the mouth and nostrils while an empty bottle of an insecticide was lying by his side which she presumed he drank before his death.

The police were invited to the scene of the incident and they evacuated his body and deposited it at the Epe General Hospital mortuary.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said investigation into the incident has commenced.
