A pensioner who took in a pretty blonde lady after she was released from a mental health hospital has been brutally murdered and chopped up.

The man, identified only as Jean, 67, was found dismembered and already decomposing in his flat in the municipality of Uccle, Brussels, Belgium, on February 27.

Police discovered Jean’s head stuffed into a suitcase and other body parts scattered around the flat and on the balcony, according to local media. It is thought he was killed two months before his body was discovered.

An unnamed source told local media: “The victim’s head was in a suitcase, there were parts of his body that were stored inside his studio and others on the balcony for about two months!”

The police only found out about the murder when a woman named Jessica, 35, rang them saying she wanted to end her life. It is thought Jean had been hosting the blonde in his home for several months following her release from a psychiatric hospital.

Police have now arrested Jessica for murder and desecration of a corpse.

The same source added: “It is this woman, a blonde in her thirties, who is suspected of having killed Jean.

“The victim had been hosting her regularly for several months after meeting her when she had just come out of a psychiatric hospital and did not know where to stay.

“In addition to her psychiatric history, this woman was already known for prostitution and drug addiction. Moreover, at the time of her arrest, she was probably under the influence(s).”

An autopsy has been ordered as police continue their investigation.

The motive for the brutal murder is currently unclear
