Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga, has denied media reports claiming the United Arab Emirates UAE has lifted the ban on Nigerian travellers.

 

Onanuga in a post shared on his X handle this evening says a document in circulation is not authorized either by the Nigerian government or the UAE.

Earlier today., a document went viral claiming that the UAE had lifted the ban on Nigerian travellers.

According to the document, Nigerians planning to visit the UAE will have to develop a Document Verification Number and afterwards visit the UAE embassy in Lagos or Abuja for an interview.
