Umahi, Environment Minister, Meet To Collaborate On Tackling Different Developmental Challenges

The Minister of Works Sen. Engr Nweze David Umahi has played host to the Hon. Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal.
Special Adviser media aide to Hon Minister Of Works, Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, who made this known to newsmen on Tuesday, said the meeting was held behind closed doors as part of the innovative initiatives of the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to foster a sense of inter-ministerial collaboration and thinking out of the box in tackling different developmental challenges facing the nation.
Orji further said that the mandate of the Federal Ministry of Environment which focuses on innovative strategies that emphasize the use of environmental re – engineering as a veritable tool for job creation, poverty eradication, food security, sustainable economic development and general improvement in the livelihood of Nigerians requires a great deal of the works sub- sector to be actualized.
