The Leadership Empowerment International Conference(LEIC) has announced a major reorganization of its operational structures ahead of the series of international conferences to be held in at least 13 countries of the world this year.

The organization based in Abeokuta, Ogun State, is domiciled in 54 nations under the leadership of the International Coordinator, Prof Olusesi Obateye, a leadership and strategy expert.

At a press conference following a meeting of key leaders, the group announced the kickstart of arrangements for this year’s conference holding in the country in August tagged, “LEIC NIGERIA 2024”

The International Coordinator of LEIC, Prof Olusesi Obateye disclosed that the theme of this year’s conference to be flagged of in the different countries during the separate events is titled: *Responsive and Responsible Leadership*.

LEIC conferences will start in South Africa on March 14 for three days, followed by that of United Kingdom from June 6 till 15th and that of Kenya holding from July 18 to 20th as well as that of Uganda slated for July 25 to 27th.

The conferences continue in Rwanda between August 1 and 3rd, followed closely by the event in Burundi from August 8 till 10th and later the LEIC Nigeria 2024 holding in Abeokuta from August 15 to August 17th.

The rest of the conferences are to hold in Ghana(August 22- 24, Cameron(September 12- 14), Israel(September 23 – 30), India(October 23 – 30), Cote D’Ivoire (November 7 – 9) and finally, Germany(November 24 – 30).

Announcing major changes in the organizational structure of LEIC, Prof Obateye reeled out a number of appointments of top leadership positions for the group.

Those newly appointed are; Dr Ayodele Arowojolu who was named Executive Secretary of LEIC Nigeria, Dr Jean Bosco Ngendakumana, National Coordinator, LEIC Burundi, Dr Daniel Kalimba, National Coordinator, LEIC Rwanda Network, Dr Alex Musau Wambua, Deputy National Coordinator, LEIC Kenya and Dr Jane Karanja, Principal Secretary and Records Manager, Office of the IC.

The rest are; Dr Mrs Gladys Igbekele, National Director, Pilgrimage, Travels and Tours, Mrs Lizzy Adeboyejo, National Director, Women Affairs, Princess Dr Ojaronke Ogunremi, President, Immanuel/PLDI Alumni Awardees Forum and Dr Abiodun Lasile, National Consultant, LEIC, Nigeria.

To underscore the group’s preparation for the planning of the LEIC NIGERIA 2024 conference, an Organizing and Award Committee has been set up under the Chairmanship of Dr Ojaronke Ogunremi with Mrs Lizzy Adeboyejo serving as Secretary while Dr Gladys Igbekele is to serve as Events Director.

According to the IC, Prof Obateye, all the appointments take immediate effect.
