Residents of Gideon Close, Oke Igbala Quarters, Oja Odan in Yewa North local government area of Ogun State scampered for safety when some youths invaded the home of one Chief Ajani Gideon Akinpelu, with an intent to lynch his wife, Mrs Ajani Oyeronke Olanike, a bisexual , for engaging in same sex act.
The Youths in their tens had invaded the home of Ajani accusing his wife of engaging in a sacrilegious act the effect, which had led to the deaths of many youths in the community.
Speaking to our Correspondent, the Youths Leader of the Community, Mr Jude Ayerose said the wife of Chief Ajani Gideon Akinpelu, Mrs Ajani Oyeronke and one woman, named Temitope who lives in Ilaro,Yewa South Local government area of Ogun State, are sex partners who the youths believed that their bisexual action is highly sacrilegious, and it’s against the law of Ogun State, and against the customs and tradition of the yorubas and the community.
He revealed that the lid to Oyeronke secret was blown open upon the confession of her partner, Temitope that Oyeronke is her sex partner.
He said the escape of Temitope from being arrested infuriated the youths to search for her accomplice.
He said they have to take the action because of the bad effects of the action on the youth, while lamenting that though the youths were unable to see Mrs Ajani while on the mission to deal ruthlessly with her, and if possible stone her according to the tradition and custom, but left an impact by destroying some properties including four vehicles in the compound and set a section of the house ablaze.
He vowed that the youths would not relent in searching for her while threatening that the community may involve the security agencies in carrying out their task.
Speaking to Our Correspondent, Chief Ajani Gideon Akinpelu, who looked very worried said he was unaware of the sexcapades of his wife with another woman, but when he heard this and was able to confirm the veracity of the sexcapades, he said he was very worried about his wife safety.
He confirmed that the youths were in his house at Gideon Close, Oke Igbala quarters, Oja Odan in search of his wife, oyeronke who allegedly practiced same sex with one of her friends,whose name was given as Temitope
“They destroyed some of my properties, touched a part of the house where I and my wife were living. They threatened to continue the attack till she is caught and made to face the consequences of her actions.
