The Southeast Leaders of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has endorsed the Alhaji Abba Kawu-Ali Led National Working committee (NWC) of party
The Leaders during its emergency meeting in Enugu disassociated self from a press conference emanating from “forum of NNPP southeast National assembly candidates”
In a communique made available to newsmen, they also passed a vote of confidence on the Deputy National chairman, Prince Nwaeze Onu.
“After x-raying the recent happenings in the party, the leadership of the party in the southeast considered it very expedient to reach the following resolutions”
“The leadership of the NNPP in south east have implicit confidence on the national Executive of the party under Abba kawu-Ali”
“The leadership of south east NNPP are fully in support of any measure or Policy initiated to move the party forward”
“we are absolutely in support of the present reforms going on in the party as this will positively reposition for future engagements”.
“We wish to clearly disassociate the leadership of south east NNPP from the said press conference granted by this group who called themselve “Forum of NNPP south east national assembly candidate”
“We strongly state and affirm that this said group is neither known to NNPP south east nor to the leadership”
“We also affirm there is one NNPP under the leadership of Abba kawu-Ali”
“The leadership of NNPP south east here by pass vote of confidence on Prince Nwaeze Onu as the acting national deputy chairman of our great party”
