Ogun NUJ Congratulates Sokefun On NIPR Awards
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun state council has congratulated a quintessential administrator and an astute politician, Mrs Ronke Sokefun on her award of excellence from the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Ogun state chapter.
Mrs Sokefun, a former Director General, Lands And Survey, Former Commissioner for Agriculture and later Urban and Physical Planning and Immediate past Chairman, Nigeria Deposit Insurance Company, was decorated among others at the Institute’s Colloquium held at the Cultural center, Kuto Abeokuta on Wednesday.
In a press statement signed by the Union’s Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and its Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the union describes the awardee as an excellent goal getter, whose contribution in the development of Ogun state cum Nigeria cannot be overemphasized.
An executive-level woman of substance, well-mannered and affable, Ronke Sokefun is one of Nigeria’s women shattering the glass ceiling in corporate Nigeria.
The 1987 Law graduate from the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University has continued to light up the Nigerian corporate world with her intelligence and professionalism.
Mrs Ronke Sokefun, through her per project MRS has touched lives and contributed in no small measure to her Immediate environment.
