The members of staff of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) have been charged to look inwards, be more productive and continue to intensify efforts at generating more revenue for the upliftment of the corporation and the State at large.

In a statement by Omolara Osindele
Office of the Head of Service said the Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, gave the charge today while receiving in audience the Management Team of the Corporation led by its General Manager, Mrs. Toyin Sogbesan, who came to felicitate the HoS on his appointment and assumption of his new post.

According to him, if more than enough revenue is generated, it will cater for all the challenges being faced by the corporation and will in turn put smiles on the faces of the staff members.

While appreciating all the staff members, especially the engineering department, for their ingenuity at moving the corporation forward, Mr. Fagbohun, advised them to always give honour to constituted authorities and conduct themselves with decorum at all times while discharging their statutory duties.

“Look inwards to tackle all challenges. Help government to help you. Be productive, raise more than enough IGR and work more on debt recovery”, the Head of Service said.

Earlier, the General Manager said the purpose of the visit was to identify with a seasoned administrator on his appointment and to table before him challenges facing the corporation which include procurement of new transmitter, generator and OBvan, as well as other personnel issues.

She pledged unalloyed support and loyalty to the Number One Civil Servant as well as the government of the day.

In a similar vein, the Joint Health Sectors Union of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu have been called upon to allow those saddled with administrative responsibility to do so as trade unionism has moved away from strike to partnership and collaboration.

The Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun made the call when the union led by its Chairman, Comrade Dehinde Ikudaisi, came to felicitate a man of integrity on his appointment, in his office.

Mr. Fagbohun told them to galvanise their members to work against wastage and leakages, internalise their issues and stop comparing Ogun State with others in solving problems.

He assured that all issues tabled before him would be looked into with fairness on his part.

Earlier, Comrade Ikudaisi had appealed to the HoS to look into the catalogue of challenges facing the members of the institution as tabled before him.
