Mrs. Damini Nathan, Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbia Local Government Area, Mrs Damini Nathan has commended Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), for his outstan,,,ding leadership and transformative impact on Bayelsa State and the Niger Delta region.
In a statement in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, Nathan described Ogbuku as a visionary leader who has brought significant development to the state, focusing on project completion, infrastructure development, and community advancement.
She noted that Bayelsa has experienced a “breath of fresh air” since Ogbuku assumed office, with notable achievements including the establishment of a state-of-the-art office, construction of roads, bridges, hospitals, and solar-powered street lights.
According to Nathan, Ogbuku’s efforts have improved the lives of Bayelsans, with eight out of ten people in the state having benefited from his initiatives.
,,She cited examples of infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and hospitals, as well as people-oriented programs such as scholarships, empowerment, and job creation.
Nathan praised Ogbuku’s commitment to the well-being of the people, saying, “A truth that makes Samuel Ogbuku stand out is that he is genuinely concerned about the well-being of every person in Bayelsa and the Niger Delta region.”
She also commended his wife, Dr. Ambassador Amaba Sam Ogbuku, for her leadership and empowerment of women and the girl child.
