Mr. Sunday Chukwu, Chief Executive Officer of Blessed Sunny Enterprises Limited, has revealed that insufficient capital is a major challenge hindering the growth of his business.

Blessed Sunny Enterprises specializes in the sales of generators, spare parts, and repairs.

In an interview with newman in Yenagoa, Chukwu, who has been in the business for over thirty years, stated that the lack of access to finance has limited his company’s ability to expand services, train more youths, and create job opportunities and appealed to the government to provide financial support to help businesses like his grow.

Despite the challenges, Chukwu highlighted one of his notable achievements – training over 15 individuals who are now successful in various fields and expressed optimism about surpassing his past achievements in the next two years.

Addressing allegations of collusion between generator dealers and the Power Holding Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) to create artificial power outages, Chukwu denied the claims, stating that generator dealers would never engage in such unpatriotic acts.

Offering advice to Bayelsa youths, Chukwu emphasized the importance of acquiring skills and being self-reliant. “Every youth should learn a skill, even if you’re a graduate, to survive and avoid idleness, which can lead to social vices,” he said.
