The Chairman of Yenagoa Local Government Council, Hon. Boludesiye Ndewari, has praised Governor Douye Diri’s administration, saying the governor deserves celebration for his outstanding performance.
Ndewari gave the commendation while speaking to newsmen st the thanksgiving service to mark six years of the Diri led government.
He highlighted the progress made in various sectors, including road infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, and sports.
He cited examples of completed and ongoing projects, such as the construction of new roads, bridges, and the expansion of the Yenagoa City.
Regarding the governor’s promise of 24-hour power supply, Ndewari attributed the delay to technical issues and assured that the project would be completed before the end of the first quarter.
The Chairman of the council, also addressed the issue of non-availability of portable water in Yenagoa, saying the government is working to resolve the problem and that water supply would be restored once the power issue is resolved.
Ndewari also highlighted his own achievements as the Yenagoa LGA Chairman, including the commissioning of a 30-bed health facility and the construction of a motor park and fish ponds.
He urged the people of Yenagoa to continue supporting the governor’s administration, saying the government has done well and that the people should pray for its success.
Ndewari gave Governor Diri a score of 95%, citing his commitment to development and peace in the state, and also praised the governor’s leadership style, saying it has brought harmony and tranquility to the state.
