The national leadership of the City Boy Movement has announced the appointment of His Highness, Barrister Osomkime Blankson, a leading APC chieftain in Bayelsa State, as the Bayelsa State Director of the City Boy Movement.

The appointment highlights the Movement’s commitment to strengthening its grassroots structures and expanding its influence across the South-South region. In his acceptance remarks, Barrister Blankson expressed appreciation to the national leadership for the confidence reposed in him.

“I am honoured by this appointment and fully committed to building a strong, inclusive, and purpose-driven City Boy Movement in Bayelsa State, aligned with our national vision,” he stated.

The Director General of the City Boy Movement in the letter of appointment handed over to Mr Osomkime stated that
“You shall serve as the principal representative of the City Boy Movement in Bayelsa State and are required to act in line with the directives and strategic guidance of the National Secretariat.

This appointment is made under the leadership of the Grand Patron of the City Boy Movement, Mr. Seyi Tinubu, and aligns with the national vision, policies, and reform agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The Movement actively supports his leadership through structured youth engagement and civic participation.

The City Boy Movement continues to serve as a strategic vehicle for political mobilisation, leadership cultivation, and active citizen engagement, reinforcing progressive values and building durable support structures across Nigeria in support of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
