Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Madein, the first female Accountant-General of the Federation and an illustrious indigene of Iperu Remo, has felicitated with the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and the entire Remo nation on the 2025 Remo Day celebration holding on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
In her goodwill message, made available to Newsmen by her media consultant, Temitope Oyekan, on Thursday, December 26, 2025., Dr. Madein described Remo Day as “an auspicious occasion that reflects the rich cultural heritage, enduring values, and collective resilience of the Remo people.” She added that the event presents an opportunity to celebrate shared history, honour visionary leadership, and uphold unity, peace, and development across Remoland.
She prayed for continued wisdom and progress under the leadership of the Akarigbo, applauding the monarch’s guidance in sustaining pride and identity among Remo indigenes at home and abroad.
Dr. Madein also commended the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, describing it as a driver of growth, prosperity, and inclusive development in Ogun State. She expressed confidence that Remoland would continue to thrive as “a beacon of cultural pride, innovation, and global relevance.”
She encouraged Remo sons and daughters worldwide to deepen unity and work collaboratively for the advancement of the region, saying:
“As we commemorate this noble day, may our bonds grow stronger, our aspirations soar higher, and our land flourish in harmony and abundance.”
Dr. Madein, Founder and Chairperson of the Olowo Oloye Foundation, is a respected member of the Remo Women of Excellence and the Remo Growth and Development Foundation (RGDF).
