The Member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening education and advancing digital literacy in Ebonyi State.
In line with the education-focused agenda of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Ogah has sustained a range of interventions aimed at widening access to quality education, particularly for students from disadvantaged backgrounds within his constituency.
Central to these efforts are his scholarship schemes and the regular sponsorship of candidates for key examinations, including JAMB, WAEC and NECO. The initiatives have enabled many indigent students to pursue their academic aspirations without the burden of financial constraints, earning the lawmaker commendation as one of the most impactful and people-oriented members of the Federal House of Representatives.
Further underlining his focus on human capital development, Ogah recently facilitated the establishment of a modern computer training centre at Community Primary School, Idembia, in Ezza South Local Government Area. The facility is designed to enhance digital literacy among pupils and students, equipping them with essential technology skills required in today’s knowledge-driven economy.
Stakeholders say the intervention will help bridge the digital divide in rural communities and prepare young learners for opportunities in the rapidly evolving global workplace.
With sustained investments in education and technology, Ogah has continued to position himself as a strong advocate for youth empowerment and sustainable development, setting a notable standard for responsive and service-driven representation.
