The Management and Staff of the Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure have congratulated the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ben Osy Okoh, FNSE, F.ASCE, on his election as the Vice President (South East) of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

In a congratulatory statement signed by Barr. P. E. Nnaji, Head of Department (A.S), the Ministry described Engr. Okoh’s emergence as a “well-deserved recognition rooted in his outstanding leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public service.”

The statement noted that Engr. Okoh’s dedication, professional excellence, and ability to inspire confidence have consistently distinguished him within the engineering community and the public sector.

“This achievement is a clear testament to your exceptional leadership and commitment to service. We are confident that your tenure will bring progress, unity, and impactful transformation to the Nigerian Society of Engineers,” the Ministry stated.

The Ministry expressed pride in the commissioner’s accomplishments and extended its best wishes as he assumes the new regional leadership role within the country’s foremost engineering body.

“Wishing you greater heights and every success as you take on this new responsibility. Congratulations once again, Sir,” the statement added.

Engr. Okoh’s election has been widely celebrated within the engineering sector, where he is regarded as a reform-driven professional dedicated to infrastructure development and capacity building.
