Health Minister Salako to Commission Community Health Project as Oke-Odan Holds 2025 Cultural Festival
The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, is scheduled to commission a newly renovated and fully equipped Community Health Centre in Oke-Odan on Saturday. The project, executed by the Oke-Odan G30 Development Association, forms part of activities marking the grand finale of the 2025 Oke-Odan Cultural Festival.
This year’s festival is themed “Leveraging Cultural Integration for Economic Prosperity in Oke-Odan Land.”
The grand finale, according to a statement signed by Prince Femi Dokunmu, on behalf of the Festival Planning Committee, will take place at the playground of Muslim Progressive High School, Oke-Odan, and it will feature a fundraising segment for community development projects, installation of new chiefs, and a rich display of cultural performances by various groups and quarters. Attendees will also pay homage to the Oloke-Odan of Oke-Odan, Oba Dr. Oluwarotimi Fagbenro.
The Statement added that Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has been invited as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Managing Director/CEO of First Bank Nigeria Limited, Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu, will serve as Chairman of the Occasion.
“The upgraded Community Health Centre is expected to significantly enhance access to quality healthcare for residents. It also complements the existing clinic and hospital projects facilitated by the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola”.
