The solemn ceremony drew top government officials, civil servants, relatives and friends who came to honour her memory.

Calling her passing a “painful loss,” Wike lauded Adayilo as a devoted, humble and hardworking public servant whose impact on the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, would not be forgotten.

“On behalf of the FCT Administration and Mr. President, I extend our deepest condolences to her family.

“The President has instructed that her four children be offered automatic employment, understanding that the family has lost its breadwinner,” Wike stated.

He went on to commend Adayilo’s exceptional service, highlighting her role in ensuring prompt payment of workers’ salaries and benefits and her influence as a respected mobilizer within her community.
