If we have arrested 100 criminals, 99.99% of them are Igbos – Gov Soludo (video)

Anambra state governor, Charles Soludo, says data shows that out of 100 criminals arrested in his statement, 99.9% of them are of Igbo extraction.

While speaking at a public function, Soludo said asides getting involved in criminal activities like Internet fraud and drug trafficking, the next big crime some Igbos have ventured into is k!dnapping.

‘’I have been in office for three years and three months, if we have arrested 100 criminals in the bush – kidnappers’ and so on and so forth, 99.99 percent I repeat are Igbo people. You hear me right I said 99.99 per cent are Igbo people.”he said

The Governor who insisted that he should be quoted anywhere, maintained that Igbo youths are deceived to go into the forest to drive out the imaginary killer herdsmen from farmlands have over time found comfort in kidnapping for ransom and engaging in other criminal activities.

“That’s part of the lies that was put in propaganda that led to Igbo youths to enter into bushes and forest. They’re into kidnapping because it is the next lucrative business after “Yahoo Yahoo” and drug. After drug and “yahoo yahoo,” the next one they find is kidnapping.” he said
