25-year-old woman commits suicide in Kano

A 25-year-old woman identified as Fatima Mohammed, has committed su!cide in Haye village in Kano State.

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the victim was found hanging from a rope in her matrimonial home at about 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

Mai Anguwa Hamza, a local community head, reported the incident to Badawa Division, after which detectives visited the scene and evacuated the body to Sir Sunusi Specialist Hospital, where she was certified dead.
