A serious paternity claim has surfaced in Abeokuta as Ms Adeosun Oluwapelumi Rafiat, a local woman, has come forward alleging that Akinnubi Oluwatoyin Korede Francis is the biological father of her two children — Adeosun Isreal Oluwafirekunmi and Adeosun Emmanuel Ibikunoluwa.

According to Adeosun Oluwapelumi Rafiat, who approached the Akinnubi family residence earlier this month, she has lost contact with Akinnubi Oluwatoyin Korede Francis and does not currently know his address. Nevertheless, she insists that he is the father of all two of her children and has demanded that the matter be formally addressed by his family.

In response to the allegations, the Akinnubi family has arranged a family meeting to investigate and discuss the issue. The meeting has been officially scheduled for Thursday, July 10, 2025, and will include representatives from both families. Akinnubi Oluwatoyin Korede Francis, Adeosun Oluwapelumi Rafiat, and the children in question are all expected to be in attendance.

Sources within the family indicate that the purpose of the meeting is to listen to both parties, assess the situation respectfully, and determine the next steps.

Discussions may include the possibility of conducting DNA tests to verify the paternity claims.

So far, there has been no official comment from Akinnubi Oluwatoyin Korede Francis regarding the allegations.

Local observers and family elders have commended both sides for choosing a peaceful and dialogue-based approach to resolving the matter, especially given the potential emotional and legal implications for the children.

The outcome of the July 10 meeting is expected to shed more light on the situation and provide direction for all parties involved.
