He said he has been in touch with Plateau’s Governor Caleb Mutfwang and President Bola Tinubu to ensure that all those involved in the attack are brought to justice.

He commended Kaduna residents for being peaceful in the face of the provoking incident. He urged local leaders in Plateau to caution their people from carrying out such a dastardly act.

Sani had called on security agencies to immediately arrest and prosecute the perpetrators.

The victims were said to be travelling from Zaria in Kaduna for a wedding in the Quan Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State when they were intercepted by the mob at Mangun District.

The travelers were killed instantly, while several others sustained various degrees of injuries.
