Ebonyi 2025 Urban Unity Cup to end Youths Restivness —- Victor Nwoke

The Member representing Abakaliki North state Constituency in the Ebonyi state House of Assembly, Victor Nwoke has launched an urban Unity Cup 2025 for his Abakaliki North Constituents
The unveiling of the Match competition took place at the State House of Assembly Complex Nkaliki, in Abakaliki the Ebonyi State capital.
The project according to the law maker who is also the chairman Committee on Sports said that the project is to foster unity and youth development in Ebonyi State . The unveiling ceremony took place recently at the House of Assembly Complex, Nkaliki Road, Abakaliki.
Nwoke described the initiative as a platform to give back to the society in appreciation for their overwhelming support during his election.
The lawmaker, stated that the Urban Unity Cup aims at tackling the pressing societal issues such as youth Restivness, drug abuse, acquisition of illicit wealth, and human trafficking, adding the platform would harness the untapped potential among Ebonyi vibrant and hard Working youths
In his good will message, the Leader, Ebonyi State House of Assembly Kingsley Ikoro, lauded the initiative, asserting that God who gave the Lawmaker victory during his elections knew what he had in mind for the Ebonyi state House of Assembly and his Constituents.adding Nwoke was leveraging in the full support of the House of Assembly at ensuring the tournament’s success..
Other respondents include the Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Richard Idike, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry Obiesie Ogbonna Hilary and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Sports Nwankwo Pius Nwankwo described the tournament as a welcome development that would provide young people with the direction, independence, and economic diversification.
The high point of the event was the official presentation of kits to the football teams who showed up for the unveiling ceremony.
