The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, said the lifeless body of the suspect has been recovered.

She said operatives of the command responded to a distress call on Thursday and discovered the lifeless body near step-down electricity lines at Yakubu Gowon Crescent, Asokoro.

According to the PPRO, tools used for the vandalization were also recovered at the scene, stressing that the accomplice fled the scene.

The command strongly warned individuals against engaging in such criminal activities, emphasizing that vandalization of public infrastructure is a grave offense that will not be tolerated within the territory.

“Security operatives remain on high alert to apprehend perpetrators and ensure the protection of critical national assets”, Josephine added in a statement.
