Nimrod Doles Out 2025 Scholarship To 12 Kaduna Volleyball Players

In his characteristic philanthropic gesture, the Chairman of Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), has credited Bank accounts of 12 players in the State, in support of their educational pursuit.

This was contained in a statement signed by member representing media on KADSVA Board, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to sportswriters in Kaduna on Sunday January 26, 2025.

According to the statement, Secretary of KADSVA, Adamu Mohammed while disclosing the details at the weekend, explained that it is an annual support that Engineer Nimrod, who is also the President Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) and Secretary General Zone 3 CAVB as well as President African Beach Volleyball, gives out.

“It is a support/funds for 12 students of Kada Kings and Kada Emeralds players for continuation of their studies at various tertiaries institutions in Nigeria for 2024/2025 academic session,” he explained.

Speaking further, he explained, ” This is another historical achievement from our Chairman Kaduna State Volleyball Association, President Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Secretary General Zone 3 and President African Beach Volleyball.”

According to him, ” the 12 players have been credited their respective money through transfer to their accounts on Wednesday January 22, 2025.”

He explained that the beneficiaries are players of Kada Kings and Emeralds, who each receive N80,000 per session, making a total of N960,000.

He informed that those that benefitted are, Chioma Samuel: Bayero University (Sociology),
Jerry Alexander (Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic), Jamilu Musa. Taraba State University (Peace and Conflict), Esther Mbah Nassarawa State University (Marketing),
Fanny Stephen. FUT Minna (Estate Management) and Patience Andrew. Kaduna State University (Public Administration).

Others are, Mukthedha Abdullahi. Taraba State University (Information Science), Chilota Marvellous. Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic ( Mass Com ), Fadilat Ibrahim. Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic (Mass Communication), Jethro Ishaku: Federal University Dutse (Cyber Security )
