Sources revealed that the vehicle used in the attack had no registered plate number, raising suspicions that the hit-and-run was a premeditated act. The driver, identified as a cult member who had allegedly been trailing Abass, fled the scene immediately after the fatal collision.

Authorities have confirmed that the attack was orchestrated by a cultist, and the Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation to apprehend the suspect. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with relevant information to assist in bringing the perpetrator to justice.
