In the light of gathering information Salient Times Newspaper recently had a voxpop with Sports Stakeholders to get their opinion about the new Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle see what they said and way forward.
Our first speaker is Ayo Akinfe, Chairman, Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (Canuk) said that the new Super Eagles manager Eric Chelle knows that he really has his work cut out monitoring all these players.

We clearly need a two-pronged approach to scouting, involving local searches and monitoring the diaspora.
I cannot believe that the Nigerian Football Federation does not have a dedicated scouting department at the moment given the dearth of talent we are currently witnessing.
Another Sports Personality who also contributed is Swiss Base Nigeria Coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony (A.K.ATriple A) said that he will like to start by saying congratulations to the new Super Eagles Coach.

My overall views during the opening speech of Coach Eric Chelle . I saw a coach that has so much passion for his professional coaching job .
I saw a coach that has positive energy to face any challenges and he loves to take risks .with his 5D principles do & don’t Determination,Dedication, Discipline and Dominant Skills
I will like to say that Coach Chelle love’s winning all the time and find it difficult to accept defeat (He’s Passionate )
The new coach is someone who love to work in collective as a team with positive mindset of people to exchange knowledge .
Coach Chelle is focus, honest to his dreams and open minded .He has capacity to build a solid team out of every of group of players without depending on a single player.

Possession and attacking football goals.I believe coach Eric will drive and team play than individual player.i wish him the best of luck. To all patriotic Nigerians let’s get behind our darling country reputation and support our team.

Salient Times also spoke to Marcello Anyanwu, Assistant Coach and Head Scout of Gulf United Football Club Dubai UAE,Grassroots football advocate, Current brand ambassador of NNL told our reporter that Coach Eric Chelle is not a novice in African Football, having said that Super Eagles Coach appointment is entirely .
He added that the decision of the hierarchy of Nigeria Football Federation to hire him. As a patriotic citizen,stakeholder and former Presidential Aspirant of Nigeria Football Federation.I will give him a vote of confidence , support and encourage him to succeed .
Coach Marcello revealed that people saying that he’s not the right person for the Job are free to express their opinion.People saying he’s the right person for the Job are equally expressing their opinion.
I would want him to constitute a good scouting department for Africa,Middle East, Europe and Gulf region to get the best legs for the Super Eagles. I will volunteer to scout for him in Gulf region and middle east,I want the best for my country.
Our fourth guest, Joseph Chibuzor Ihedoro Mbakwe, Academic Scholar, Sports Investor, and Political strategist said that his opinion about Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle is that everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves and what they can do, let’s keep our fingers crossed and watch what will happen, I wish him the very best.
