…says she was an elegant and epitome of royalty
A Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) and Egba Chief, Chief Segun Sowunmi has described the death of Princess Khadijat Abike Adebisi Edionseri, a.k.a Cash Madam as a significant loss.
Sowunmi in a condolence message described the late Cash Madam while alive as an elegant woman who adorned royalty and a great philanthropist.
‘A beautiful soul through and through has departed. Inna lilahi wallahi raijun. Oh, Cash Madam was elegant, she was beautiful, she was stylish, and she epitomized every inch of sophisticated royalty.
“She was a devoted Muslim with many titles including Iya Suna of Egbaland. She has been around like forever for the limelight loved her and she basked in it till the very end.
“She was always so well put together and elegantly dressed.
“She loved to host parties and she loved to grace occasions.
“If there was a female version of Kabiyesi that was who she was, royalty personified.
“She was wealthy and had many musicians sing songs in her praise but I guess the most classic was Bisilola Edionseri Cash Madam ti wa, Cash Cash ape Kanuko Owo Owo by Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, which will stay with us as she bids the world goodnight.
“May the lord comfort her children, her family, her loved ones and all who knew of such an iconic woman.
“May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
