The Ogun State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the state chairman, Dr. Femi Soluade, have mourned socialite and business icon, Chief (Mrs) Khadijah Adebisi Edionseri, who passed away on Sunday at the age of 89.

Princess Khadijah Adebisi Edionseri, a philanthropist and community leader was buried on Monday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, according to the Islamic faith.

The state ADC and it’s chairman expressed sadness over the passage of Mrs Edionseri, saying she was not just an extraordinary woman but also a beacon of hope and compassion for countless individuals.

In a release made available to newsmen by Hon. Olumide Onabajo, the State Publicity Secretary, the party and it’s chairman, Otunba Soluade therefore Commiserated with Eng Adebowale and Abayomi Odunowo, a political ally and friend, the entire family and the loved ones on the great loss.

The statement reads, “Her departure marks an immense loss for our state, her community, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

“Princess Edionseri was not just an extraordinary woman; she was a beacon of hope and compassion for countless individuals. Throughout her remarkable life, she dedicated herself to uplifting the underprivileged and championing the rights and empowerment of women, blazing trails and opening doors for generations to come. Her unwavering commitment to social justice and community development is an inspiration to us all.

“As a successful businesswoman, Princess Edionseri demonstrated that hard work, integrity, and compassion can coalesce to create a better world. She was not only an astute entrepreneur but also a mentor to many, guiding women to harness their potential and transform their lives through entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

“In this time of mourning, we reflect on her legacy of kindness and generosity. Cash Madam’s spirit of giving and her tireless efforts in often overlooked communities will forever remain etched in our hearts. Her passion for uplifting the less fortunate and her advocacy for women’s rights have created ripples of positive change, which will continue to resonate throughout Ogun State and beyond.
