The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Akume has reiterated the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians.
The SGF gave this assurance in a message during the 50th birthday celebration and thanksgiving Service in honour of Dr. Mathias Terwase Byuan, the Executive Director Finance of the Federal Housing Authority.
Sen. Akume expressed appreciation for Dr. Byuan’s loyalty, integrity, and commitment to overall political development in the State.
Benue State APC Chairman, Comrade Austin Agada described Senator Akume as a strong leader who has kept the party united in the state, urging candidates to campaign independently as the 2027 election approaches.
On his part, former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom acknowledged Akume’s leadership and highlighted the collaborative efforts of Benue’s political representatives under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Meanwhile, the celebrant, Dr. Mathias Byuan pledged his continued loyalty to President Tinubu and Senator Akume, even as he unveiled the Dr. Mathias Byuan Community Empowerment Foundation aimed at helping the less privileged in the state.
The event, which also served as a fundraiser for the completion of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Agidi, witnessed a large turnout of party faithful and public figures.
