Yuletide: FG approves free train service nationwide

— Begins recess till January 6

The Federal Government has approved free train service nationwide starting from December 20, 2024 to January 6, 2025 to help caution high transportation fare during the Christmas season.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the Council meeting, presided over by President Bola Tinubu at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Information Minister said cabinet members will embark on recess from 18th December and resume on January 6, 2025.
