Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure have appointed Abubakar Bala, their new Technical Adviser for the rest of the season.
The former Katsina United, Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United gaffer will take over from Bobola Akinbola who had been head of the technical crew, in acting capacity.

Sunshine Stars Football Club had been without a substantive Technical Adviser since erstwhile handler Kayode Boboye resigned in November 10, 2024.
Abubakar Bala who last handled Doma FC is Sunshine Stars’ third Technical Adviser in as many years.
