Remo Stars’ goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole has demonstrated his readiness to mann the post when the Super Eagles team B confront the Black Stars in the two legged CHAN qualifier.
The safehand, one of the goalies called up by coach Eguavoen, has so far justified his invitation with outstanding performance at the Remo Stars Staddium, where the team is camped ahead of the tie.
Bankole’s reflexes in training clearly puts him ahead of others and the goalie believes he can do the job if picked for the matches.
“This is a national team camp, where the coaches selected the best from the league. To be among those picked is a big privilege and challenge.
” All the goalkeepers here are good and can effectively do the job, that is why to be picked, you have to work hard and that”s exactly what is pushing me on”, said the soft spoken goalkeeper.
