Lagos FA Reward Gold Medal Winning Female Team With Cash Gifts

Lagos State Football Association, Tuesday at the its Surulere secretariat gave cash gifts to the members of the gold medal winning Lagos State female football team to the recently held National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.

The obviously elated young female footballers and the team officials received the cash gifts from the Lagos FA Secretary, Akeem Okikiopusu, on behalf of the Chairman Hajji Gafar Liameed.

The FA thanked the cash donors that included the Chief Executive Officer of NPFL side Ikorodu City, Mr. Sanmi Doherty, Senior Special Assistant on Sports to Lagos State Governor, Hon. Damilare Orimoloye, President of Buruj Football Academy, Alhaji Waheed Salaudeen and Mr. Victor Akinmoyo, for their financial supports.

“We’re very grateful to the cash donors for their thoughtful support and encouragement. We believe such kind gestures would go a long way to further encourage and boost the morales of these talented and impressionable young female footballers,” Okikiopusu remarked.
