Ebonyi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Nwafor Samson, has been honoured as the State Ambassador of Nigerian Physically Challenged People’s Assembly, Ebonyi State chapter.

Comrade Nwafor was honoured during the thanksgiving church service of the Assembly held at the Assemblies of God Church,Ezza Road, Abakaliki, on Sunday.

On why Nwafor was Honoured by the group, the pioneer President, Barr. Enyi Joseph Nwabueze, said it was due to his track records of helping the needy and the less privileged in the society.

“This honour was due to your track records Sof helping people within and beyond Ebonyi State, raising people beyond disabilities, helping the needy, poor and widows, with your own resources.That shows truly that you are made by God to help humanity, as such, we have decided to extend this right hand of fellowship,” Barrister Enyi said.

In his acceptance speech, the State of Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Nwafor, thanked the Assembly for the honour bestowed on him and assured that he would continue to do those things that earned him the recognition.

“I thank this Assembly for honouring me as their State ambassador, and wish to pledge that I won’t take the honor for granted. I also pledge to redouble my commitment to those virtues that made your group to honor me today. Thank you very much”, Nwafor Said.
