Gunmen suspected to be cultists have k!lled one Justice Onyekachukwu Elimani, a day to his traditional wedding in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Onyekachukwu and his partner, Blessing were set to tie the knot on Saturday, 23rd November, 2024, at Umusam in Kwale.

According to eyewitnesses, Elimani and one other victim identified as Double C, were k!lled in separate attacks on Friday, November 22.

One of the witnesses said the former groom-to-be was walking with friends to purchase items for the wedding when he was ambushed and k!lled by suspected members of a rival cult group.

Double C’s lifeless body was discovered at Utagba-Uno Junction.

A third victim was injured and being treated at an undisclosed location.

It was gathered that security personnel have mounted roadblocks across the area to prevent further violence and contain the situation.

Onyeka had taken to Facebook on November 13, to share his prewedding photos and invite.

“Love is not just a feeling; it’s a decision to stay, to give, and to grow together, even on days when it’s hard. It’s the strength found in each other’s arms, the warmth in each other’s laughter, and the peace in each other’s presence. Please family and friends join us on 23rd November at umusam Kwale Delta state. Is all about love,” he wrote.
